Eden Cafe Bar was first opened in 2017 by myself, Suzy, with a love of hospitality, good food and drinks and bringing people together.

Over the years, the café has grown and evolved, but after having 4 years away and being back as the owner since 2023, the things that matter most to me have stayed the same: creating a welcoming place where people can relax and feel like part of the Eden family. 

I’m proud to be a hands-on owner, often working with my amazing team, but also behind the scenes, coming up with new ideas to make Eden Cafe even better. I love getting to know our regulars and seeing new faces become familiar ones. I've had some challenging times, with neighbouring businesses closing, affecting footfall in the Village for the remaining shops, and 2026 has been particularly tough for me after losing my beautiful Mum, but I still work hard as a sole trader to keep Eden Cafe open for our lovely customers. 

Eden Cafe Bar is more than just a café to me. Named after my gorgeous granddaughter, it’s a place built around community and the little moments that make a day better. 

After nearly a decade since I first opened the doors, I’m incredibly proud of how far Eden Cafe has come and excited about what’s still to come.
